Experience Summary
I am a Certified Teacher in the State of Washington and currently work as a Substitute Teacher for the Fife Public Schools. I have been a Substitute Teacher for local school districts and chose to work part time since I was caring for my elderly father who passed away in 2012. I enjoy teaching Elementary Education, Preschool, Drama, and English. I taught Drama for The City of Lakewood back in 2008 to 2010. We read and acted out plays, performed Improvisations, played theatre games, and had fun with many other activities.I also performed in plays at The Lakewood Playhouse and recently became a member of The Dramatists Guild of America. I enjoy writing. I was involved in local Writer's Group and wrote a Halloween Play that was voted by my peers to receive the Hack Award. I also completed an online Screenwriting Class and currently involved in selling a screenplay and becoming a Screenwriter and Playwright. I enjoy teaching preschool. I performed my student teaching experience at Lister Magnet School through the Tacoma Public Schools in Kindergarten. I love teaching students the basics though Thematic Units. I performed my Master's Project on "Using Video Technology in the Classroom." I also taught a Sunday School Class in Kindergarten at St. John Bosco Catholic Church for six years. I really enjoy writing out lesson plans and teaching students about various lessons.

My teaching style is being patient and kind and letting students get actively involved in the lessons.
My Hobbies
I like to watching Movies and Stage Plays, Writing, Ice Skating, Traveling, and Reading.
