Experience Summary
I graduated from the University of West Florida in Pensacola with a Bachelors in Science in Marine Biology. I have worked as a fisheries biologist for four years before I became a teacher. I went through an intense alternative certification program that allowed me to learn two years of education into a six month period. I taught 8th grade science in Desoto County for five years. After moving to the Orange Park area, I began teaching Biology and Marine Science at a Clay County high school. This is where I am currently teaching and have been for almost three years.

I am very passionate about education/teaching. The most thrilling thing to see is that "ah ha!" moment when a student understands the material. I relate to the kids and understand a lot of what they are going through. I consider myself a teacher and sometimes a councilor.
