Experience Summary
I am graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Tennessee Technological University of Cookeville, TN. I transferred from a 2 year community college in Harriman, TN known as Roane State Community College. Before starting college, I graduated from Rockwood High School in Rockwood, TN, where I never made lower than a B or a high C in some of my harder classes. I started taking college classes in my Senior year of high school and I was always in the advanced Math classes up until that point. I'm a quick, fast learner and always strive to be better in what I do. Right now, my major at TTU is in the concentration of Social Work, in which I hope to become a high school guidance counselor or a counselor in practice.
Teaching Style
I try my best to adjust my teaching style to meet every individual's needs. I know that every person not only is taught differently, but also learns and understands differently as well.
My Hobbies
I really enjoy reading and writing. I love being outside and taking walks or just enjoying the scenery. I love kids and playing with them or watching movies. I like to spend free time online and I either play games or get on Facebook to keep in touch with friends and family. I like to go out to dance or bowl or to the park and just get out of the house every once in awhile.
Other Comments
I love helping people. That is really the one thing that drove me into the social work field to begin with. That is why I applied as a tutor because when people can get the help they need, there is no sense in failing.
