I am from the Iranian Kurdistan. I do speak both Kurdish and Persian. Learning these ancient indo-european languages is a gate to becoming acquainted with the Ancient history of the Middle East. Kurdish is spoken in Kurdish inhabited parts of Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syrian. And, Persian is the official languages of Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan.
