Experience Summary
I have 30 plus years in teaching elementary grades from Kindergarten to sixth grade. I have also taught remedial and enrichment classes during summer school. I have been "Teacher of the Month" and nominated for "Teacher of the Year". I have my Masters in Education as well as my Gifted Endorsement for Florida.
Teaching Style
I have a relaxed and positive type of teaching style. I believe in finding the positive in each and every child and building upon their strengths while working on the skills that need improvement.
My Hobbies
I am an avid reader, but I also enjoy outside activities, such as swimming and tennis. I also enjoy traveling to new and unusual places!
Other Comments
I have taken many advanced courses in reading and am very familiar with the elementary reading programs and reading skills.
