Experience Summary
Privet! My name is Katerina, and I am an English teacher for non-native speakers. I graduated from University in Russia, had experience of tutoring the English language for russian speakers for 2 years. Though I assume I could successfully teach Russian for english-speakers or for russian-speakers kids or for anybody who is in demand of it. I am a student right now and looking for some extra work, and love to share my knowledge of the Russian an English language.
Teaching Style
With my students, I strive for not only mastery of the Russian and English languages, but also an understanding of Russian culture on the whole. I stress the importance of correct pronunciation and practice speaking and listening extensively. Though we do many written exercises, I find that language acquisition through conversation is key. I am very passionate about my subject matter and can't wait to take on a new student, with whom I can have the opportunity to work one on one.
