About Me

Experience Summary

I have taught at a career and technical center as an applied math specialist for over twenty years. Having engineering training gives me a strong background in math. My further training in special education (and literacy) give me the ability to reach my students both theoretically and intuitively. My strength as a teacher is best in one-to-one situations where I can help motivate my students to reach those "aha"moments, showing them ways to take charge of their own learning and become successful in all they are willing to work at.
