Experience Summary
I have prior tutoring experience with ELD (English Language Development) students at Vinland Elementary.
I majored in vocal music, & previously held a medical coding cert (CCA) through the American Health Information Management Association.
My mother is a retired elementary teacher, and owing to being on 2 different tracks for some years, I practically grew up in her classroom. For a while, no summer vacation was safe! I was still in class, and often helping. As an adult, I continued to help so much that at one point they actually offered me a tutoring job on campus.
I have also worked for the City of Manhattan Beach's parks & rec, in the creative arts center. Between elementary schools, and parks & recreation, I have developed a rapport with many students.
My Hobbies
Reading, choral music, arts & crafts & Halloween haunts.
