Experience Summary
An Associate Trainer, certified by International Board of Certified Trainers, Niebuhr attained his PhD in History from Boston College. He also holds an MA from Boston College, an MA from Arizona State University and a BA (summa cum laude) from the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University. Niebuhr has published 5 books, more than a dozen academic articles and book reviews, and given more than 20 lectures on 3 continents. Having taught history and political science at Boston College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Simmons College in Boston, he taught Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian language in the Slavic Department at Harvard University. Most recently Niebuhr taught at Universidad NUR and Universidad Catolica Boliviana "San Pablo" in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
Niebuhr is also a proud graduate of Mountain Pointe high school, a part of the Tempe Union District.
Teaching Style
Our method combines lecture, discussion, practice, and review of drills to ensure a complete understanding. We teach long-lasting skills like academic structure, which works to help student understand how to read and write with greater ease. We are not about teaching vocabulary or grammar because the structure and rules determine how to eliminate wrong answers.
