Experience Summary
I've provided music consulting services to the professional music industry since 1971. I've been invited to join bands like Sha Na Na (1971), Heart (1973), Steve Miller (1983), Pearl Jam (1994), Pluto Boy (1994), and Santana (2008). I've written movie, TV, and commercial themes and theme songs. I've performed in every kind of venue, with every kind of musical instrument combination. I've helped hundreds of musicians refine and hone their technique, and their styles, and I can help you!
Teaching Style
Interactive - students will learn to read a jazz lead sheet, are given a foundation in jazz theory,; then they "jam" with the instructor, to apply what they've learned, in "realtime".
