Experience Summary
I have loved being a comprehensive Business Education Teacher for 31 years. I enjoy teaching teens--even those who are having difficulties with their studies or in positively navigating their teen years.
As a conference speaker for churches and women's conferences I have gained even greater understanding on how to relay my knowledge to others. These settings most often afford me the ability to share my faith and God's love with people.
An author of a book and writer for an on-line E-Journal . The book is called The Home Experience . . . Making Your Home a Sanctuary of Love and a Haven of Peace.
Teaching Style
Students learn best in an atmosphere filled with love and respect. Students need to feel valued and honored in order for true learning to occur. They also need to be taught by someone highly competent in their specific field. Secondly, my highest priority is finding out what teaching style works best with the student(s) I am assisting. My personal style of teaching always involves the following characteristics: loving, caring, encouraging, positive, energetic, student-focused, individualized instruction, and one-on-one tutorial approach to every child.
My Hobbies
Writing, gardening, reading, walking, volunteering at church, cooking, entertaining, leading small group Bible studies, and spending time with family and friends.

I possess a permanent teaching certificate for the state of Ohio. I have been certified to teach elementary education. Even though, my certificate is currently expired. I am very gifted in working with young children specifically in the area of reading, writing, and study skills. With these skills my concentration area spans all grade levels. Helping students feel good about themselves, succeed, and reach their maximum potential is a passion of mine.

| I have taught keyboarding skills for more than 25 hears. My students are among some of the most accurate and fastest typists. Accuracy with speed is emphasized in a stress free environment. Also, students can learn how to use the 10-key touch method for numbers. |
