Experience Summary
I work in two formats:
1. I teach students who already take Russian and need help with homework, tests, etc.
2. I teach those who are not enrolled in any Russian course and are looking to either improve their fluency or to uncover the basics.
My lessons are well structured and focus on the following areas:
- Writing
- Reading
- Listening
- Speaking
- Grammar
I was born and raised in Russia and excelled at both Russian and English at school and college. I have many years of experience in creative writing in both languages as well. I use a well-developed system that is flexible enough to adjust to the needs of any student.
Lessons held in a relaxed and casual environment, mostly practicing conversational Russian. We will meet and practice speaking by having casual conversations with some supplementing materials (dictionary, books in Russian). You will improve and solidify your conversational language and extend your vocabulary (So, perfect for intermediate and advanced levels). However, if you are a beginner and want somewhere to start (or refresh your memory), i also offer the basics of Russian language in grammar, phonetics, syntax, reading and writing. Lessons will be planned and structured according to your level, learning style, and specific requirements, should you have any. Throughout our lessons i will be pleased to introduce you not only to Russian language, but to the history and culture of this wonderful country as well.
