Experience Summary
I have worked with children throughout college, both in academic and nonacademic settings. I worked on a family literacy program at the Mississippi Childrens Museum, called Planting the Seeds to Read, which entailed teaching children literacy skills and coaching parents in literacy strategies for home. I teach at Canton Young Filmmakers Workshops every summer.
Teaching Style
I work with students on a hands on, personalized instructional manner. I teach study skills as well as subject knowledge.
My Hobbies
Writing, filmmaking, painting, origami, theatre, and cooking.
