Experience Summary
Since graduating from The University of Toledo in 2011, I have worked at a local pharmaceutical company as a chemist. I have been tutoring high school and college students in the Cleveland area for more than four years. I have experience with students on the Autism Spectrum, ESL students, students pursuing their graduate degrees and those wanting help with study tips. My sessions revolve around the needs of the student and are tailored for their success. I use technology, creativity and ingenuity to ensure my students not only understand the material but can retain it as well.
I am a great tutoring candidate, because my education (two Bachelor's degrees: Medicinal-Biological Chemistry and German) provides me with a solid foundation in many areas such as ACT/SAT prep and general study tools. Because of my career, I have developed a proficiency in the sciences, mathematics and all aspects of the English language including reading, writing, grammar and syntax. I am also a published researcher in the peer-reviewed publications Current Protocols in Chemical Biology (2013) and Current Alzheimer Research Journal (2011). I also have 15 years of German-speaking experience.
I have over four years of tutoring experience. My college education included a teaching component during my senior year, in which I gained valuable experience teaching students. I am a registered tutor on WyzAnt, a national database that pairs prospective students with expert tutors. My students have seen tremendous results from using my methods. Teaching Style
My tutoring style is very interactive and involves the use of self-made PowerPoint presentations that break-down difficult concepts into easy-to-understand principles, as well as practice problems to improve your understanding of the subject. I have more than four years of tutoring experience, and my students have seen great results by using these methods. As an experienced tutor, I understand that students have different learning styles, and I adapt my teaching in a way that best enhances your learning. I am available most weeknights and weekends for tutoring. I look forward to working with you, and I promise that you will not be disappointed!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, working out, boxing and playing rugby.
