| I have played piano for over 40 years and have been a piano teacher for over 25 years. I studied classical piano but am comfortable with church music, broadway, pop, soft rock, and country and some jazz standards as well. I love teaching beginners and intermediate students and can take students to high level classical pieces. Some of my students started at the age of 3 and are still with me a few years later. I am consistent, and understanding, patient and warm. I use excellent methods and teach theory, technique,Hanon, performance, scales, and music for special occasions. |
