Experience Summary
- I have tutored students from 1st grade to senior year of high school in a wide variety of subjects. My students all had a wide range of learning styles and abilities.
- I was a part of a program where I taught an SAT prep class for the verbal section of the SAT for four years.
- I completed my student teaching for Boston College in which I had to be in the classroom all day every day for an entire semester. I did my student teaching in 10th grade regular and special educations classrooms.
- I have a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Boston College and am currently working on my master's in special education at Fordham University.
Teaching Style
I am extremely patient. It is important to me to take time to figure out how my students learn best and to mold my teaching to their learning styles and needs. I like to have fun when I am tutoring so that it is not boring for the student or for me.
