Experience Summary

I studied Mandarin Chinese beginning in high school, going on through college, and most recently attended the Defense Language Institute where I maintained a 4.0 GPA in their intensive Mandarin course. Throughout all my years learning Chinese I was also a tutor to fellow students and students in the lower level courses. Chinese is my passion and I absolutely love learning and teaching it! I have also been an ASVAB tutor in the past. I myself got a 97 on my ASVAB and can certainly help you achieve the score you need. In the past year I have begun tutoring ESOL. I am working on my first certification and will be starting a second certification program in the fall. In addition to academic tutoring I have also been a swim instructor for many years. I have taught all ages, infant to senior, and can help with any goal, be it introducing a child to the water or training a competitive swimmer for their season.
