Experience Summary
I am an educator who is committed to helping students experience the power of utility of mathematics and statistics to achieve academic success. I have more than 10 years of teaching a broad spectrum of math& statistics classes to assist diverse student populations achieve their own math &statistics success. I believe that my experience, providing math &statistics instruction to middle-school, high- school, community college, and university students from diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural ,disability and ethnic backgrounds, makes me uniquely qualified for the Mathematics &Statistics Tutor.
Teaching Style
I spark my student's motivation to become successful problem solvers and improve their math aptitude by replacing self defeating messages about their inability to learn math & statistics with positive experiences;identifying and repairing math&statistics deficiencies at their lowest levels;and providing them with opportunities to improve their problem solving skills and ability to express ideas and reason logically regarding abstract situations.
