Yangjiaping Elementary School, Chongqing, China 1982-2001
• Managed fourth grade education class with 58 students in a progressive education system, motivating and guiding them until they graduated from middle school at the end of their ninth grade.
• Taught Chinese language skills and culture, reading, writing, social studies, humanities, and health. Developed lesson plans that met varied student needs, evaluated and assessed children’s development, and implemented study methodologies to enhance children’s progress.
• Appointed as the Lead Teacher from 1993 through 2001, overseeing the teaching activities of eight other teachers.
• Inspired and motivated children in reading and writing, showing the relationship of stories in the structure of Chinese language. Students won first place in annual city-wide competition.
• Concurrently attended Southwest Law University and awarded degree in legal administration.
• Attended teacher in-service training and staff meetings, maintaining strong relationships with fellow staff and administrators.
