I have the professional and technical knowledge necessary to successfully carry out the position you offer. I have a Degree in MODERN LANGUAGES of the UNIVERSIDAD DEL VALLE, Cali, Colombia, South America. I have been an English teacher at the Colombo American Center, at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, at the Catholic Foundation University Lumen Gentium and, during three years (2003 - 2006) I was a Spanish Teacher and interpreter at Estill High School in South Carolina, USA.
I worked as administrative assistant for Mrs. Monserrat Munoz Pipin, Dr. Angelino Garzon’s (Colombian Vicepresident) wife when he was governor in Valle del Cauca.
I have also worked as an English Teacher at Institucion Educativa Alfonso Lopez Pumarejo, in Cali, for the grades 10th and 11th, since 2010.
I have 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, dedicated to technical, literary and informative translations in national and multinational companies such as Warner Lambert, Park Davis, Chiclets Adams and Fundapuestas. And I have also been the official translator of the TRACK CYCLING WORLD CUP, 5 years, making all the communications back and forth all over the world with all the countries participating in this sports event.
Teaching Style
My teaching style depends on the situation and the program the student needs to follow. I can use a communicative approach when the student's purpose is to speak, but when the student needs to take a test I use a more grammatical approach.
My Hobbies
Read, listen to music, dance, swimming, etc.
