Experience Summary

I have always enjoyed working with children and find helping them to be successful in school to be extremely gratifying work. My teaching experience has included Kinder, third, fourth and fifth grade general ed classes. In addition, I have conducted remedial and test prep workshops after school hours for those children who were having difficulty keeping up in their primary classrooms. Having been trained and having taught several different mathematics instructional programs, has allowed me to present concepts in multiple ways, fostering greater understanding. My students have consistently made significant progress year on year, and as such, I was rated as "highly effective" in the L.A. Times review of teachers in the Los Angeles area.
