Teaching Style
As a teacher I believe that the goal of foreign language education is to prepare every student to be a contributing member of the global society. It is my goal as Arabic teacher to help each student see their importance in the world and the importance of gaining knowledge of another language, so that they can contribute to the world community
My role as a teacher is to give students the tools with which to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge, and makes learning relevant to life .
I eager to help learners shape their own intellectual wealth, I think that the best way to pick up a foreign language in the classroom is to focus on the use of the target language, this is the reason that classroom instruction is crucial.
I make sure to memorize the students' names well .,so I do my best to learn and address each student by their name and to provide unstructured time to listen to their knowledge, ideas and concerns, so From the first day of class, I encourage students to set clear learning goals.
Motivation is a strong point in my teaching philosophy. I want to promote a positive environment in my classes. I don't want my classroom to be a teacher dominated monologue ,that is why I will insure that all the students will participate by encouraging class discussion. Above all, dialogue with students is one of the most important aspects of my teaching.
I work hard to kindle a spark of intellectual curiosity to stimulate their interest and get them genuinely involved in the process of learning. Students are urged to actively participate in the class in several ways. Every student, for example, is asked to give a class presentation followed by lively discussion.
I believe that, if we give the students enough examples, they see the structure and come up with the rule on their own, self-discovery.
I make sure that each student will be able to pronounce words correctly by repeating words.
I think that using modern technology in the classroom is a superb way to facilitate the achievement the goals
I genuinely enjoy teaching and cannot imagine myself doing anything else.
Sincerely
Mohanad Mohammed
