Experience Summary
My Chinese language learning started in high school, continuing for 3 years. I attended Northeastern University for one year, continuing studying Chinese, while majoring in Linguistics. After a year hiatus, I joined the Navy and attended the Defense Language Institute achieving a 4.0 GPA in Mandarin Chinese. I have since continued my studies and am currently awaiting the next HSK exam date in fall 2013. I tutored middle school students in Chinese during high school and was a peer tutor at DLI.
Teaching Style
I have taught swim lessons for many years now and absolutely love working with children of all ages. I prefer one on one lessons to achieve the best experience for both student and tutor.
