Experience Summary
I have been a full-time math tutor for ten years. I worked at the CSN Math Lab for seven years. I spent five years as an in-classroom math tutor with UNLV's GearUp program. I taught at an alternate school for a year.
My students range from high school age to college. I have tutored for the SAT, GED, NHSPE math and math for PRAXIS, medical, firefighting and other vocations.
Teaching Style
I break problems down step-by-step, slowly. I supply background knowledge if necessary. I do not judge people who do not have background knowledge. I have a great passion for math and for teaching. I think I make it fun and easy.
