Arabic Language & Cultural Instructor, Foreign Service Institute Field School, Tunisia 1995-2012
-- Taught Modern Standard Arabic and cross-cultural skills to group classes composed of three-to-four diplomatic personnel working in political, economic, public diplomacy, and consular offices.
-- Taught FSI teaching methodology, mentored new language instructors, and participated in FSI hiring committee to recruit new teachers of Arabic.
-- Provided media training to students and established partnerships with Tunisian Radio, the Tunisian Central Bank,
and local private software companies for students to practice their new language skills in real-world settings.

-- Established and managed Arabic department, hired and trained teachers, and marketed the department to universities and the private business sector.
-- Developed teaching curriculim based on multi-media resources, such as video clips, local and world newscasts, newspapers, magazines, and film; and created varied approaches for students with differing linguistic levels, aptitudes, and learning styles.
-- Taught Modern Standard Arabic and dialectical Arabic in private courses, group classes, and conversation classes;
and organized cultural-immersion activites outside the classroom and in-house lectures.

College, and Texas A&M University.
-- Established a 5-week summer Arabic camp for students participating from Italy, Spain, and the United States.
Teaching Style
I emphasis on several aspects of language-learning (listening, summary, repetition, reading) has helped me along and I feel I could likely make a jump in progress in his class.
