Experience Summary
Since the year 1997, I have worked with many students in Baltimore City and Howard County School system as an aid, reading assistant, substitute teacher for many subject areas including Science, Art, Health, and (long-term) English, High Subject (for all subjects) and a Special Educator that carries with many titles and various needs including transitions, SST, 504, and committees.
Teaching Style
I believe that we all learn better one way versus another but it does not negate the many ways of learning as well. As a teacher I believe that everyone wants to learn but many are unable or have not been able to see the connections it has on our lives and that we all have talents and skills that needs support, encouragement or attention. Exploring, memorization, practice, demonstrate in as many ways are all but a few ways to instruct, guide and facilitate.
My Hobbies
I play chess, swim, tecah swimming, cook, dance and watch movies, read, write poetry and do my form of abstract art.
