Experience Summary
Prior to serving in the United States Army, I was a successful entrepreneur in NJ. In 2003, I was recruited and after serving I returned to train troops at the Infantry Training Brigade at Fort Benning, GA. After returning home, I began working at a financial firm and became a licensed Investment Advisor and Asset Manager. I ran the Manasquan Edward Jones branch office until deciding to return to school. I studied Political Science at the University of Florida completing their International Relations program Cum Laude. Studies in International Relations focused on the international global economy, international agencies, national security, international political theory, and other aspects of public policy. I received minors in History and Chinese Language & Business Culture. While studying the Chinese Mandarin language, I became an asset to my Chinese counterparts (and visa versa) to gain real world experience and knowledge of the formal and informal aspects of the language, culture, and business tactics. I have spent the last year consulting western business men regarding the eastern negotiation style in order to provide their companies a more favorable business arraignment with their eastern partners.
Teaching Style
I am a firm believer that different people learn in different ways. Therefore, while I teach by my own set of principles I am always seeking feedback on how better to accommodate the manners in which criteria can be better understood.
My Hobbies
As well as enjoying academic hobbies, I enjoy recreation such as fishing, martial arts, an exercising. I have a passion for politics for which I am deeply involved on the state and national levels. Mot of all I am a family man. I love to spend time with my son, daughter, and wife more than anything else in the world.
