Experience Summary
Taught students ranging from 7th to 12th grade in subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus for 2 years in a private school setting as well as after school tutoring in the aforementioned subjects. Tutored in all subjects ranging from College Algebra to Calculus while a student at Mitchell Community College. Have been sporadically tutoring relatives, acquaintances, and friends over the past 20 years.
Teaching Style
Although I can and have made lesson plans as a tutor, I prefer just explaining and working similar examples to whatever specific questions students bring to me in an effort to have them work through their own specific problems themselves with me there to assist.
