Experience Summary

I am currently a junior enrolling at Ohio State University majoring in Middle Childhood Education with Mathematic and Science concentration. I have been a straight A's math student since I started learning math in a very young age. I enjoy solving math problems and also teaching it. I have a younger brother who is two years younger than I am who I have been tutoring all my life in math. This really helps him learn and understand math. I am glad to have the opportunity to help my younger brother improve his learning skill in math but this also helps me understand the struggles that other kids have with learning math. I know math is not an easy subject and many kids and often asked "why do we have to learn math? when are we going to use math in life when we always have a calculator to calculate?" So I always try make learning math fun and enjoyable and for kids to see math in real life examples to make math more interesting. My education background is starting from St Ursulin Catholic Elementary - Middle School, Colonia HS in New Jersey and Columbus State Community College with an Associate Degree of Science. I have taken up to Calculus 4, Multi Variable Calculus and currently teaching math classes for middle childhood. My experience in tutoring started with assisting my siblings, a semester of FEEP OSU program Teaching assistant at Jones Middle School Upper Arlington (2012) in a 7th grader math class to volunteering to tutor kids from sunday school at my church.
