Experience Summary
I am currently in my 4th year of medical school and completed my undergraduate education at the University of California Berkeley where I received a bachelors in both Biology and Education. I tutored both math and english during my college years. Throughout my education I have received straight A's in math up to the calculus level and am most comfortable teaching elementary, pre-algebra, algebra I and II. With regards to english, I have excelled throughout my education including passing my AP exam in high school and earning A's at the college level. I have taught basic skills, creative writing, grammar, spelling and helped with personal statements. Lastly, as a medical student I have much experience in the sciences and am very comfortable tutoring in biology.
Teaching Style
I tend to focus on an individuals weaknesses and use concrete examples to help clarify topics. I also feel it is best to understand the basics first and subsequently build upon that foundation.
