Experience Summary
I first learned to speak Portuguese while I lived and worked in Sao Paulo Brazil as a Mormon missionary. I subsequently returned to the United States and completed my undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University where I majored in Latin American Studies and minored in Business Management and Portuguese. While at BYU I made my living as a Portguese language instructor.
I have 15 years of experience in international business working specifically with US companies attempting to do business in Brazil. I have translated marketing materials, websites, and other materials from English to Portuguese and vice-versa.
In short, I know how to teach Portuguese to interested individuals in a way that is unique and designed to gain a maximum fluency in a short period of time.
Teaching Style
I am very hands on and expect my students to work hard and come prepared to learn.
