Experience Summary
I am experienced in creating and teaching art to students ages 5+. I graduated with my degrees in Fine Arts and K-12 Education, with a minor in Art History, in the Spring of 2012 from William Paterson University of NJ. I can teach students how to create drawings in various media (using graphite, ink, color pencil, charcoal, cante, etc.) as well as teach extensive sculpting techniques in ceramic, stone, and metal. In addition I am also experienced in teaching painting with acrylic, water colors, gouache, and tempera.
Teaching Style
I understand that art is a highly visual field, therefore I demonstrate all techniques while giving verbal directions to ensure the highest level of student understanding. I am patient and caring and work with the student to ensure that the student fully understands all of the material covered.
My Hobbies
Sculpting life sized female figures, writing and illustrating children's stories, gardening, and cooking.
