Experience Summary
I have been teaching for 12 years. I began teaching after graduating from the University of Berkeley with a Bachelors in Sociology. I taught Reading, Math, and Social Studies as a regular education teacher until 2005. In 2005 I began to teach special education students, and this is currently where I teach. I have an Education Specialist credential and I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition, I have VPSS certificates in Math and English. I am aware of the SDAIE and DIS strategies that assist students of all levels. My experience as a special education teacher has enabled me to teach all students on all levels. My motto is that all students can learn regardless of their learning styles and it shows in the passion I show all students.
