Teaching Style
Hello, my name is Noufissa (new fee saa). I am from Morocco and I am twenty eight years old. I have been here since I was nineteen years old. I went to a community college and I am anticipating to graduate attend UNT Dallas in the spring of 2012. I want to get a degree in Business just because it is very interesting to me. I have tutored along with going to school and working retail part-time. Dean is a lawyer and he has French heritage and wanted to learn everything about French. His determination in learning this beautiful language motivated me to give him everything. I encouraged to watch to French movies: “la vie en rose”, “ Diner de cons” and we discussed them in French. I pushed him to learn French lyrics from Jacques Brel or Edith Piaf. I would print issues from www.LeMonde.fr and discuss them or translate them. Audrey goes the DIS ( Dallas International School) and the fact that her parents were not French speakers was frustrating to her when doing her French homework. I helped her with homework and with learning her “poesies”. As I was tutoring these people with different goals and personalities, I became close to them and I realized how much I enjoy teaching French. Also I have so much respect for people willing to learn a new language in a world becoming so much smaller and that requires easy circulation of information thanks to learning a different language other than English.
