Experience Summary
?I have played the Guitar for over 45 years. Although there was a time I did not play
For several years During the first years of marriage. Graduated from high school.
I took some lessons at the age of 13 then taught myself how to play the guitar on my own by just
Listening to a song ,or chord progressions or a lead . My inspirations were, The Beatles,Beach Boys,
Chet atkins, George Harrison, Clapton, jimmy page, B.B king, Moody blues, Wes
Montgomery. And really many many more. I basically took all of the guitarist I learned from ,
Like, Harrison Clapton, etc. and developed my own style of playing.
I play by ear, and teach to play by ear. I teach at a local music store in McDonough
On Saturdays and a few in-home students on the weekend also. I do not teach during the
Week because of my full time job, but plan on teaching full time in April when I retire.
I teach beginners, and more advanced. Rock,pop,country,blues. Chording, strumming, music theory.
Most any age.
In my early years I opened up for acts such as the Allmand bros. Fleetwood mac. Grand funk railroad.
I just started teaching two years ago professionally. But have taught many over the years , friends,
Family, etc. . I also teach the bass guitar and can teach banjo strumming and finger picking . I have done much multi-track Recording over the years. And write and record my own instrumentals. Using ,
Guitars, keyboards ,bass, 12 string. Drum machine’s. On a tascam 24 track dig.recorder.
