Experience Summary
I am a certified mathematics teacher (grades 6-12) in the state of Florida with four years of experience in teaching and tutoring middle and high school students.
Through teaching, I have learned that I excel in motivating and teaching students in one-on-one and small group settings. I am able to increase student confidence, develop study skills, and create an interest in math with my enthusiasm and love of the subject. This has resulted in students who experience academic success, as reflected by obtaining 100% of passing rate in classes and retaining students for two or more years.
I have taught and tutored students in Intensive Mathematics, Algebra 1, Algebra 1 Honors, Informal Geometry, Geometry Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, Analytic Geometry, and Precalculus. I specialize in at risk students, students with autism, and gifted students. I am certified in teaching ACT prep. In addition, I am fluent in Farsi and Spanish
