Experience Summary

I have experience specifically with teaching Arabic as a foreign language through my Masters program at University of Michigan. I taught beginners Arabic at the university for two years as well. I currently am an Arabic instructor at the Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan. I also have experience teaching Arabic to high schoolers through the Summer Arabic Institute in Dearborn. Lastly, I tutor students and young professionals in Arabic language, Arabic grammar, and/or Qur'aanic Arabic.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is eclectic but leans towards the communicative method. I try to use a variety of methods in teaching and focus on all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) so the student can gain a holistic lesson in Arabic.
