Experience Summary
I began my childhood care at 15 years of age by working as a camp counselor for young children (3-5 years). I loved my summer experiences and found engaging with youngsters fulfilling and innate. I did form several babysitting relationships with families of the students. Again, I was always excited to spend time with the kids sharing in their creative energy. I'm confident I would be an asset to any elementary school child in help with any liberal art subject. After graduating with my B.S. in Psychology I volunteered as a Big Sister. I shared wonderful experiences with 2 at risk girls for 4 years. In my family I have 3 nieces and 1 nephew. I'm thrilled at any chance I have to do art projects with them, as well as read or just simply offer support and care in their everyday experiences. Additionally, I'm very knowledge about graphic design (working in the field for over 10 years) and art history. I'd be great at helping a high school or college level student evolve in his/her studies.
Teaching Style
I'm very patient, and gentle. I'm supportive, caring and available for questions / concerns in between sessions.
My Hobbies
I enjoy music, art, travel, film, learning, reading, exercising, outdoor activities, cooking, creating art with children, and spending time with friends and family.
