Experience Summary
Out of college, I substitute taught for a year, where I gained the ability to adapt to the needs and personalities of many different students. I have spent 2 1/2 years teaching grades 6-12 in an alternative school, working one-on-one with students, giving them the individual attention and education they need. I ran a before and after school program for 2 years working with K-5 students. I currently teach math interventions and Algebra at a middle school in Lincoln, working with grade 6-8.
Teaching Style
I feel that it is important to relate to students and make the learning experience about what they need. I like to get to know a student on a personal level so that I can better learn what's best for them as a studuent.
My Hobbies
I love to do crafts, reading, baking, and cooking. I spend a lot time outdoors and with 2 wild and crazy kids!
