Experience Summary
I graduated from Bowling Green State University, primarily having studied Economics, French and Spanish. During this time, I studied abroad in Tours, France, and Xalapa, Mexico. I went on to get a Master's Degree in Applied Economics with a specialization in Community and Economic Development and then volunteered with Peace Corps in Costa Rica where I worked with microfinance institutions, helping them to improve the administration of their businesses.
Teaching Style
As a Peace Corps volunteer, I learned to adapt my style to the needs of the student, however I like to allow the student to drive the learning activity as much as possible. I also try to incorporate more concrete experiences into the lesson plan as much as possible, combining theory with practice.
My Hobbies
I enjoy playing chess, baseball, basketball. I also enjoy gardening with my girlfriend.
