Experience Summary
Native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. Have approximately 10 years of experience in teaching and tutoring private Spanish sessions at different levels. My students have included junior and high school, as well as college students, professionals and travelers.
I love helping and encouraging my students to learn and enjoy the Spanish language and to appreciate the culture! I use different methods and approaches to address any difficulty they may be having with any grammatical concept and to practice communicating. Sessions are tailored to the students' needs and I believe in having fun while learning!
Coordinated a UCD bilingual (English and Spanish) component for an inquiry-based hands-on science youth program, which included translating educational material into Spanish, training high school students and adults in both English and Spanish. Designed and implemented a multicultural program for elementary age students.
My Hobbies
Enjoy walking and visiting with friends, watching funny shows/movies and cooking.
