Experience Summary
CPA since 1991. Over 2 years private tutoring with accounting students from ASU, SCC, Rio Salado College, University of Phoenix, and other schools. Some students are local residents, but most of them are foreign students from the United Arab Emirates. Also, 25 years of full-time, hands-on accounting manager experience in construction, service, and retail companies. Heavy user of Quickbooks and Peachtree accounting softwares and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Well prepared to teach all aspects of financial and managerial accounting.
Teaching Style
I am careful to provide what the students want. Because private tutoring can be costly, some students just want help with the homework. However, the students that need a good grade and a solid grasp on the discipline of accounting appreciate that I can patiently teach and illustrate and reinforce each principle and process.
