Experience Summary

Hello parents and potential students. My name is Wendy. I am a Certified Wilson Reading Program Instructor and mom of two wonderful elementary aged students. I began my journey into the Wilson Program with a desire and dedication to help my oldest child, who is dyslexic, with his academic struggles, specifically with reading and spelling. Fascinated by the process (a very systematic and specifically structured program) and excited by my son's progress, I decided to work toward becoming Wilson Certified and tutoring other children who need help with reading. I believe that all children can learn to read and with patience, practice, and even some fun I can help them reach their full potential. The progressive successes they will achieve with this program will build their self-confidence and self-esteem; I look forward to watching that happen for them! I can provide a letter of recommendation from my Wilson Program Mentor/Trainer upon request.
