Experience Summary
My passion with the French language began about nine years ago, when I took my first language class. During my high school years, I was very involved with language program as president and active member of French Club during all four years. After graduating, I remained invloved with this interest, and chose to pursue a degree in French Language and Literature at Virginia Tech. During these years, I was an active member of Le Cercle Francophone and La Table Française-- two cultural apprecation/ tutoring programs sponsored by the French Language program. In addition to my academic involvement at Virginia Tech, I also studied for an academic year at Université de Caen Basse- Normandie, where I obtained government- approved fluency certification at the C1,or naturalized fluency level.
