Experience Summary
For five years, I have tutored through the No Child Left Behind program and privately. I have tutored all subjects except science. I have tutored K-12 up to calculus. My professional background before tutoring was in banking, insurance claims, and healthcare administration. I love tutoring one on one and in small groups. I never wanted to be a teacher in a classroom. I think the joy of tutoring is watching students "get it."
Teaching Style
Depending upon the student, I vary the tutoring help. Some students are slower or faster than others; some like to play games to learn and some like step-by-step instructions. I am kind, personable, and flexible with a lot of patience. I think that is why I have been so successful.
