Experience Summary
I am a first year graduate student at UNO receiving my Masters in speech-language pathology. I completed my undergraduate degree at Hastings College and receiving a double major in both Elementary Education and Special Education. I have more than 850+ hours within the school systems, 425+ of these that are related to Special Education. I have provided services as a Respite Care worker to a little boy with cerebral palsy and have tutored several children. My placements in undergrad have been in nearly every grade up to 11th grade and I have volunteered working in settings working with children of all ages.
My Hobbies
I love to dance, hike, bike, spend time with friends and family, read, and swim.
Other Comments
I am very energetic and easy-going person. Things have not always come easy to me with school and I understand how frustrating it can be when trying to learn content. However, due to all my educational related experience, I have lots of "tricks up my sleeve" and fun and unique approaches to address content.
