Experience Summary
I am currently a Senior at the University of South Alabama. I have just finished up my Junior year and will be graduating in the Spring of 2013 with a Chemistry major and Mathematics minor. I was the valedictorian of my High School class with a 4.0 GPA and currently hold a 3.8 GPA at my University. I have taken and passed with an A or a B (Chemistry 131, Chemistry 132, Organic Chemistry 201, Organic Chemistry 202, Computer Chemistry, Physical Chemistry 301, Physical Chemistry 302, and Quantitative Analysis. All of these courses came with a laboratory section and I received an A in all of them. I am also proficient in Mathematics up to Calculus.
Teaching Style
I am very understanding and patient when I tutor because I know how frustrating it can be to not get a certain topic. I sometimes need a different approach to understand material myself so I will ensure that I take various approaches to the same problems until I am sure you or your child is proficient in the course material. I believe in working multiple examples because it is important to not only hear the correct information but to see it as well.
