Experience Summary
I have worked at Mingo Valley Christian School since 2010 in a variety of capacities: substitute teacher, teacher's aide, AIM tutor. I work mainly with lower elementary students on phonics and beginning reading, but I also have experience in teaching upper elementary reading and math. I am also certified to teach English as a foreign language and have completed practicums in ESL classrooms at Jenks East Elementary (Fall 2010), Tulsa Community College (Fall 2010), & La Casa de Panchita (Fall 2008). I studied Spanish at a private university in Lima, Peru, during my junior year of college and am comfortable teaching Spanish vocabulary and grammar at the intermediate level.
Teaching Style
Prefer to work one-on-one or with small groups (up to 4 students).
My Hobbies
Reading, blogging, travelling.

I am returning to school this fall to pursue a second Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
