Experience Summary
I have one class left to finish my BS in Elementary Education. My major is in science so everything I know is new and up to date. I have a nephew who is very intelligent however has a sever reading problem. Through the summer I found ways to break through the barriers and we advanced his reading by a couple of reading levels. I continued to work with him while in school and he is up to his grade level. I have helped many students on my own time to aid them in math, reading and in science.
Teaching Style
I use a lot of visual aids to help the students understand the material. I go the extra mile and I am dedicated to using anything I can think of above and beyond their text books.
Other Comments
I have a drive to help students learn what can be difficult subjects with creative ways.
