Experience Summary
I have wanted nothing more, since a child, than to become a teacher. When I graduated from High School, in 2002, I immediately enrolled in our local Community College where I studied for 2 years and earned a Certificate in Early Childhood Education. Wanting a change of environment while I furthered my studies, I applied to and was accepted to one of the top Teacher's Colleges in the Caribbean, The MICO, where I obtained a Diploma in Secondary Education, specializing in Integrated Science, & Remedial Reading. I then applied to the University of Tampa, where in 4 years, I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Eglish & Literature.
Teaching Style
I hate to be bored!!! I love fun, but I love learning all at the same time. So I try to make my teaching environment as pleasent and comfortable as ever. I do not like the monotonous flow of words; as it affects the learning experience. At MICO we were always taught to incorporate FUN, that appeals to the individual, in order for them to retain what was actually taught.
My Hobbies
I love music, from rap to folk: from Rick Ross to The Carpenters. So in my spare time i listen to music, while I read from authors like Fitzgerald, Charlotte Bronte and Hemingway, to name a few.
